The pub may have gone full circle with Mike Wilson the current landlord and the Wilsons of the nineteen centry!

Horncastle is famous for William Marwood, a cobbler and executioner from 1872 to 1883. His shop was in Church Lane, and he practised his famous long drop technique in Lindsey Court!
